This hat is a quick knit, using chunky/bulky yarns, and offers a slouchy, stylish fit for a womean’s medium to large size. The stitch pattern is a fairly easy cable that does not require the use of a cable needle. Techniques used include the Italian long-tail tubular cast on for very stretchy ribbing, and cable crosses done without a cable needle.

I’ve been trying to download the Twisted Ovals Socks pattern here and Ravelry and keep getting an error message that the file is damaged. Any chance you could send me a copy? I’d love to make these for a gift for my Mom! Thanks!

Jessica, I’ll email you the PDF file, and will try to check out why the downloads are not working. Is anyone else having similar problems (nothing had been reported before…)
